Travel Guide of Montreal
Montreal has four seasons and each one has a unique appeal for tourists. It could get very cold in the winter and become very hot during summer. Summer evenings could get cold too, so it’s really essential to bring an extra sweater anytime of the year.
To get around, you can use the buses, trains, and subway called Metro. There are 68 Metro stations and four lines, which cover most of downtown and the outskirts. Bus or Metro travel will cost around an exact change of $2.75.
Tourist cards allow unlimited access to the public transport system. One-day pass would cost $9.00 while three-day passes sell for $17.00. When boarding a bus, use the front door and pay the fare via cash, ticket, or pass. Exit by ay of the other doors of the bus.
Due to the city’s harsh winter season, there is an extensive web of train stations, restaurants department stores, and hotels that are all connected underground. It is called the Underground City.
