Attractions of Malaga
There’s a wide array of notable attractions found in Malaga. Museo Picasso houses some of Picasso’s most famous masterpieces. These were donated by Picasso’s daughter Christine-in-law and grandson Bernard Ruiz- Picasso. There are collections from his early drawings down to the his famous Cubist drawings. The Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle is also a famous tourist destination.The former being a Moorish fortress back in 700 A.D. and above it lies the Gibralfaro Castle.
You can also find here Mediterranean’s 2nd largest port and a significant harbor for centuries now, The Port and Playa la Malagueta. Situated along the seaboard, among the famous attractions in the area would be the beaches. After all, Malaga’s climate is mostly sunny, typically Mediterranean with hot summers and mild winters. The structures found in the city are also picture perfect, a mix of the Renaissance era, Byzantium, Arabian, Anglo-Dutch, neoclassical and contemporary styles.
